If the food you are eating is delicious, please offer me a taste. If it is horrible, please do not. Why do so many people have this completely backwards? "Ewwww....this is gross....taste this." Stupid.

just want to see if it is fresh.
Isn't this along the lines of "Oh, this smells horrible! Smell it!" or the fact that when people smell something gross they will start sniffing more to try to identify the scent and cause? My friend will do that.
"Oh, what's that awful smell?"
I don't know and I don't care. All I think of when something smells bad is how quickly I can walk away or plug my nose.
On a side note, Blogger needs to have an "Edit Comment" button for people who accidentally make horrid typos.
